DeBordieu Colony

A place to enjoy the company of friends, family and other like-minded individuals, DeBordieu Club is the heart and soul of our community. Dining and socializing are always special events at DeBordieu. Whether you choose our elegant Georgian-style clubhouse, or the spectacular panoramic views from our oceanfront Beach Club, pleasing the senses is always on the menu. For a more casual take on elegance, enjoy dining and live entertainment at the Blue Heron Beach Grill. And our oceanfront pool and gazebo bar make every day at the beach a special occasion.

The Beach Club

The social heart of DeBordieu, the Beach Club includes two swimming pools, recreation center, playground and is also home to fine and casual dining.

Two Swimming Pools are located at the Beach Club, The main pool is oceanfront with an adjacent children’s pool, and the other is located at the Rec Center. Both pools are conveniently located near the casual Blue Heron Grill, so a drink, snack, or meal is never far away.

The little ones will romp with delight on the most up-to-date playground playthings at the Fred Green Memorial Playground. The older ones will enjoy the basketball or volleyball courts next door.

Golf

Pete Dye and his son, P.B. Dye, designed a beauty. Golf at DeBordieu can be described as an exhilarating 18-stop nature tour. The Dye's designed a challenging, but playable course that winds through the stunning marshland of DeBordieu and is defined by its signature 17th hole - voted "number one" on the Grand Strand.

Tennis

With eight Har-Tru and two hard courts, a comprehensive pro shop and on-site pros, DeBordieu's tennis program is second to none. Several of the courts are lit for evening use. We also offer resident tournaments, league tennis, kids camps and clinics for all ages.
